This contest is to challenge you to make a poster to tell your friends and other kids out there why they should not do drugs. From the presentation you received by the RCMP and the research you can do on the web sites in the bookmark section, we challenge you to use your creativity to help other kids make the right choices about drugs. Try to tell a story or give a message to other kids that; 1) Shows what happens when people take drugs. 2) Promotes fun activities that keeps kids from using drugs. 3) Helps kids make the choice of not using drugs 4) Helps make kids think about the consequences of drugs to them and others 5) Apart from just saying no, what other creative response would you suggest to kids who are being offered drugs 5) That tell a message that YOU think should be said Try to avoid using the message "just say no" if you can and instead come-up with another message that makes people think about doing something else than drugs. Saying no to drugs is great...thinks how YOU would like to be told that message so that You and your FRIENDS would listen. Remember that your poster may not only win you a prize but it could be used in other classrooms around the country. Be creative, have fun, do research and think about the best way to promote the message about being drug free. Drugs dealers don't want kids to know about the dangers and consequence of the drugs they sell. Too many kids however just don't know the facts so we need your help to get the message out. Good luck !
